Sweat Shorts Manufacturer Bangladesh for Gym, Training and Casual Ranges
The sweat short is the warm-weather half of the fleece business. Training brands build their summer kit on it, casual ranges pair it with the crew sweatshirt and the tee, and teamwear buyers issue it where a full track bottom is too warm. Each of those buyers is really purchasing the same thing: a waistband that holds without biting, pockets deep enough to trust with a phone, and fleece that keeps its weight and line through repeated washing. Our lines run sweat shorts as a standing fleece product alongside our sweatshirts, with fabric knitted and brushed for each programme so the standard set at sampling is the standard that arrives in bulk.
Sweat Short Fabric Options
- Brushed fleece at 280 to 320 GSM in cotton and polyester blends – the classic sweat short weight, soft inside and stable in the wash
- Loopback (French terry) fleece for lighter, unbrushed shorts worn across more of the year
- 100 percent cotton fleece for natural-hand retail and premium casual programmes
- Polyester performance fleece and mesh-lined styles for training and teamwear shorts
- Organic and recycled-blend fleeces, knitted to order for sustainability-led collections
Every fleece is rested before cutting and checked for weight and shade, with anti-pilling finishing where a hard-wearing brief asks for it, so the face stays smooth and the inside stays soft wash after wash.
Sweat Short Styles, Lengths and Fits
Lengths run from gym cut above the knee to relaxed casual lengths at the knee, graded with the waist sizes so the proportion holds across the range. The classic drawstring style with side pockets is the core line; cargo and zip-pocket styles serve retail and teamwear programmes that need secure storage; ladies sweat shorts are patterned on their own blocks with shaped waists and considered leg openings, not scaled down from the mens style. Raw-edge and cuffed hems serve fashion-led ranges, elasticated hems the training line, and fits run regular, athletic and relaxed across mens, ladies and youth blocks.
Waistband, Drawstring and Pocket Craft
A sweat short succeeds or fails at its waist. The elastic is stitched so it cannot roll inside the channel, the drawstring is tipped and anchored so it cannot be pulled out in the wash, and the waistband rib is attached at the ratio that holds the short up through a training session without digging in. Pockets are cut deep enough for a phone and bar-tacked at the stress points, because a pocket that tears at the corner is the first failure a wearer finds. Leg openings are finished evenly left to right, seams are sewn to lie flat against the leg, and the finished garment is checked against the approved sample for waist recovery, pocket depth and length before the bulk is released.
Custom Printing, Embroidery and Branding
The leg of a sweat short is a clean, visible branding surface: embroidered logos at the hem for premium and team programmes, screen prints for retail graphics and events, and small woven labels for quiet retail finishing. Printed or woven waistband branding, branded drawstring tips and private label finishing – neck-style labels at the back waist, folded and bagged presentation – are handled inside the same order. Buyers building a matched fleece set often run the same artwork across our sweatshirts for the top half of the set, held to one shade standard across both garments.
Custom Sizes, Fits and Colours
Sizes run XS to 3XL in adults with a full youth range, graded size by size from one block family. Core shades – grey marl, navy, black, white, red and royal – are running colours in every fleece programme, and seasonal shades are dyed to order against a swatch or Pantone reference, including melange and garment-dyed effects for fashion ranges. Every colour in a programme is approved as a lab-dip before knitting starts, and the approved standard is held on file so a reorder next summer matches the original on the rail.
Sweat Short Sampling and Product Development
A short sample made in the wrong fleece teaches nothing, so ours are made in the production fabric at the production weight, with the waistband, drawstring and pockets finished as the bulk will be. Buyers receive the sample to wear, train in and wash, because waist behaviour, pocket honesty and fleece feel only show themselves in use. Measurements follow the tech pack or a reference garment, comments are turned into a revised sample where the fit needs it, and the approved piece – with its fabric swatch and trim card – becomes the standard the bulk is checked against at final inspection. Fit comments on waist recovery and leg length are the ones we act on first, because on a short those two decide whether the garment feels made or merely sewn.
Quality Assurance and Production Follow-Up
Fleece is checked for weight, shade and brush before cutting; shrinkage is tested per fabric lot; and finished shorts are measured, weighed and inspected for the faults fleece shorts hide – rolled elastic, shallow pockets, uneven leg openings and drawstrings that slip their channel. Prints and embroidery are matched to the approved standard under standard light, waistbands are recovery-checked on the inspection sample, and final AQL inspection closes the order, with photographs and results shared to buyers in Europe, the USA and beyond as a matter of routine. One named contact follows the programme from fabric booking to final carton.
Sweat Shorts for Training, Teams and Everyday Summer Wear
Training brands buy a short that survives daily sessions and the washing that follows them. Teams buy one shade and one mark, identical for this season’s squad as for last season’s. Retailers buy the comfortable summer basic that pairs with everything already in the customer’s wardrobe. One production standard serves all three when the waistband and pockets are made properly, and holding the specification on file means a reorder is a confirmation, not a renegotiation, season after season. Programmes building a full training kit will also find the tops on our custom sportswear page, made to the same standard.
Why Source Sweat Shorts from Bangladesh?
Bangladesh offers the full fleece chain in one place – knitting, raising, dyeing, cutting and sewing – which keeps fleece garments economical where freight on fabric would otherwise eat the margin. The country’s sewing depth shows in the operations sweat shorts demand most: waistband construction, pocket setting and clean hem finishing at volume. Add export routines proven daily into the USA, Europe, the UK, Canada, Australia, the Middle East and East Asia, and a summer programme can be planned on dates that hold, at a price that leaves room for the retail margin.
Why Choose Siatex Bangladesh?
We have manufactured in Bangladesh since 1987, and fleece garments are a standing line in our factory rather than a seasonal guest. Your order sits with one team from fabric booking to final carton; the sample you approved is physically present at the inspection of the bulk; and the specification – weight, shade, waist standard, pocket depth, branding – is recorded so next season’s order starts where this one ended.
Looking for a Sweat Shorts Manufacturer Bangladesh?
Send the style, the length and the quantity, and we will return a price, a fabric swatch for the weight you chose and a sampling plan. If you are between brushed and loopback, say so – we will sample the leading candidate and send swatches of both, because a sweat short is chosen by hand and in wear, not by a number on a page.

The Waistband Test – Elastic, Channel and Drawstring
A sweat short spends its working life held up by one component, so the waistband deserves the closest look a buyer gives the garment. The elastic should be wide enough to spread its grip, stitched or held so it cannot roll inside its channel, and recovered – stretched and released – it should return to the graded measurement, not near it. The drawstring should be tipped so it cannot fray and anchored so it cannot be pulled through and lost in the first wash. Test both on the sample, hard, before the bulk is approved; a waistband fault cannot be inspected out of a finished order, only made out of it at the sewing stage. The same test applies to samples from every supplier you compare – pull the waist to its full stretch ten times and measure it after the tenth, not the first.
Pockets That Hold a Phone – Depth, Angle and Bar-Tacks
The pocket is where a sweat short keeps or loses its wearer’s trust. A pocket cut too shallow spills a phone the first time the wearer sits down; one set at the wrong angle gaps open and shows its lining. Honest pockets are cut deep, angled to keep contents in through movement, and bar-tacked at both stress points where the opening meets the side seam. Ask for the pocket depth on the specification, check it on the sample with a real phone, and hold it at inspection – it is a small measurement that decides whether the short is worn daily or left in the drawer.
Matching the Short to the Set – Shade Custody Across Garments
Sweat shorts are rarely bought alone; they are the bottom half of a fleece story that includes the crew sweatshirt, the hoodie and the jogger, and the set only reads as a set when the grey marl is the same grey in every garment. The defence is custody of the standard: the approved lab-dip, the fabric swatch at the approved weight and the approved garment held together, with every fleece lot for every garment in the programme checked back against that file before cutting. Buyers in the USA, Europe and the UK who reorder season after season from one file will recognise the routine – it is what makes a programme boring to run and easy to sell.
