Terms and Conditions
These terms govern the use of this website, operated by Siatex Bangladesh, a clothing manufacturer based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. By using the site, sending an inquiry or joining any list on it, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
The terms are written the way we work: plainly, and with the important point early. Nothing here replaces the written documents of an actual order - a confirmed order has its own paperwork, and where the two differ, the order paperwork governs that order. These terms cover the website itself and the inquiries, quotations and samples that pass through it.
Six sections follow: using the site, quotations and pricing, samples, orders and production, intellectual property, and liability and governing law.

Terms for Using the Siatex Bangladesh Website
Trade buyers use this site to judge a manufacturing partner before they write to one. The terms below exist so that judgement – and any business that follows – rests on clear ground.
1. Use of This Website
The site presents our company, our services and our product ranges to trade buyers. It is intended for businesses sourcing garments, not for retail shopping: there is no online checkout, and nothing on the site is an offer to sell to the general public.
You agree to use the site lawfully and honestly – in particular, to provide accurate details in any form you send, and not to submit inquiries on behalf of another party without their knowledge. A form sent with false details wastes a costing desk’s time and may be disregarded.
We may decline, pause or end correspondence begun through the site where the use is dishonest, abusive or clearly not a genuine trade inquiry.
Two companion policies stand beside these terms: our privacy policy, which governs the details you send us, and our anti spam policy, which governs the messages we send back. Both are part of the basis on which this site operates.
2. Quotations and Pricing
Any price indication given through the site, by email or through the inquiry system is a quotation prepared against a specific specification, quantity and delivery term. A quotation is not a standing offer: it is confirmed only when we restate it in writing against a final tech pack or approved sample, and it may change if the specification, materials market or delivery terms change.
Product pictures and descriptions on the site illustrate the ranges we manufacture. Colours and details can differ slightly between a screen image and a produced garment; the approved sample, not the website picture, is the production standard for any order.
Quotations are prepared for the buyer who requested them and the specification they supplied. Passing a quotation to a third party does not transfer it: the same construction costed for a different specification, quantity or market is a different quotation.
A written quotation states what it includes: the fabric and trims as specified, the making, finishing and packing to the stated standard, and the delivery term it is priced on. Anything outside that list – a special finish, a different packing method, a faster route – is costed openly as an addition rather than absorbed silently into a garment that then has to give somewhere else.
3. Samples
Sample development is arranged case by case through our desk, as described on our sampling policy page. Sample charges and courier costs, where they apply, are agreed in writing before development begins, so neither side is surprised by an invoice it did not expect.
Samples remain development pieces and carry no guarantee beyond matching the specification they were made against. A sample approves a construction, a fabric and a standard; production against it is governed by the order documents described next, not by the sample correspondence alone.
4. Orders and Production
An order exists only when it has been confirmed in writing between you and Siatex – normally by a signed order confirmation or proforma invoice. That document, together with any written terms agreed with it, governs the order. If there is any conflict between those order documents and these website terms, the order documents prevail for that order.
Payment, production and delivery arrangements for an order follow the confirmed documents and the general approach set out on our payment terms page. Verbal arrangements, chat messages and website text do not amend a confirmed order; changes are made in writing and restated by the desk.
Production is carried out against the approved sample and the confirmed specification. Where a change becomes necessary – a fabric substitution, a revised date – it is agreed in writing before it is applied, and the confirmed documents are updated to match.
Dates in a confirmed order are planned backwards from the buyer’s required date with the production and logistics chain, and the desk reports progress against them. A date that comes under threat is reported when the threat is known, with the recovery options on the table – not after the vessel has sailed.
5. Intellectual Property
Your designs, tech packs, artwork, logos and trademarks remain yours. By sending them to us for costing, sampling or production you give us the right to use them for those purposes only, and we will not use them for any other buyer or purpose. Files sent for a quotation that does not proceed are not retained for other work.
The content of this site – its text, layout and the pictures we created for it – belongs to Siatex Bangladesh or is used with permission. You may share links to our pages; you may not copy substantial parts of the site, or present our pictures as your own manufacturing, without written permission.
6. Liability and Governing Law
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from the use of the website itself, and our liability in connection with any order is governed by the documents confirming that order.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the current one, changes take effect when they are published here, and orders already confirmed in writing are unaffected by later changes.
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any dispute relating to the website that cannot be settled in discussion will be subject to the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, unless a written order document agreed with you provides otherwise.
Reading These Terms Alongside Your Order Documents
Most buyers meet these terms once, at the start, and then work from their order documents day to day. Three clarifications cover the questions that arrangement usually raises.
Which Document Wins If They Differ
The written order document wins for that order, every time. These website terms are the general ground rules for the site and for first contact; a signed order confirmation or proforma invoice is a specific agreement made with full knowledge of your specification, quantities and dates, and specific agreements properly override general ones.
The same principle runs the other way for the site itself: nothing an individual email says casually can rewrite these published terms for website use. If a ground rule needs changing for your programme, it is changed in writing, in the order documents, where both sides can find it later.
What a Quotation Commits Us To
A quotation commits us to the price and terms it states, against the specification it was built on, for as long as it states – and it commits you to nothing until you accept it in writing. What it cannot do is survive a changed specification: a different fabric, construction or delivery term is a different garment economically, and the honest course is a fresh quotation rather than a squeezed one.
That discipline protects buyers as much as it protects us. The commonest source of disputes in this trade is a price agreed loosely and argued later; written quotations against written specifications are how those arguments are prevented.
If Something Goes Wrong
Tell the desk first, in writing through our contact us page, as soon as the problem is visible. Almost everything in garment production is easier to correct early – a shade drift at lab dip stage, a date slipping while recovery options still exist – and the order file gives both sides the shared record from which a fair correction is worked out.
Formal steps exist behind that conversation, under the governing law stated on this page, but they are the last resort of a relationship, not the first. Our interest is in programmes that run for years, and problems handled openly are how those programmes survive their difficult weeks.
None of this is unusual in serious trade; it is simply written down. Buyers who prefer their own standard terms are welcome to table them – where they differ from ours, the difference is settled in the order documents before production begins, not discovered during it.
